The BMH corpus portal provides online access to a range of corpora of biomedical
and health literature. The CQPweb interface allows powerful corpus queries through a user-friendly online interface. For a username and password please contact cqpweb@bmhlinguistics.org The interface includes the following functionality. Concordances - show how a word or phrase is used in context. Collocations - show which words frequently co-occur with a given search term. Frequency - generate frequency lists for individual words or for all words in the corpus. Distribution - show the distribution of word occurrences across journals and sections of articles. Restricted queries - restrict searches to journals, sections of articles or articles containing specified terms. Keywords - identify words which occur in a text more often than we would expect them to occur by chance. Complex searches - search for abstract grammatical patterns using part-of-speech annotation / CQPweb query language. |
